Different people - common values
The Russian LGBT Network is an interregional, non-governmental human rights organization that promotes equal rights and respect for human dignity, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. We unite and develop regional initiatives, advocacy groups (at both national and international levels), and provide social and legal services.

Our activities

  • We unite the community and support the growth of the LGBT+ movement across Russia.

  • We offer free legal and psychological support to LGBT+, their relatives, associates and loved ones.

  • We provide help to those in trouble in case of emergency.

  • We provide legal aid in law courts in cases of hate crimes, discrimination, violation of freedom of gatherings and illegal arrests of LGBT+ activists.

  • We collect information about the conditions of LGBT+ people in Russia and prepare reports and analytical databases for Russian and international institutions and organizations.

  • We establish and maintain contacts with governmental representatives, political parties, legal rights defenders and civil activists.

  • We run national and regional information campaigns.

  • We organize round-table discussions, seminars, conferences and trainings.

  • We run the largest LGBT+ human rights event in Russia – the annual forum of LGBT activists – which brings together close to 250 participants from across the country each year.

Together we can do more. Help us help others.
