Different people - common values
The Russian LGBT Network is an interregional, non-governmental human rights organization that promotes equal rights and respect for human dignity, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. We unite and develop regional initiatives, advocacy groups (at both national and international levels), and provide social and legal services.

Discrimination monitoring

We collect and document information on violence, discrimination and violations of rights of LGBT+ people in Russia. We prepare reports on the situation of LGBT+ for Russian and foreign institutions and organizations.

As part of the monitoring program, we collect and document cases of violations of human rights, discrimination, and hate crimes on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI). We then analyze this information and use it to prepare reports, policy briefs, and much more.

Thanks to our efforts, anyone can visit our website and learn how the situation of LGBT+ in Russia changes over time. We ourselves get a full picture of what is happening in the country at the moment and what issues we need to prioritize as an organization. Needless to say, all this information is the basis of our advocacy work.
