Structure

The Russian LGBT Network is an interregional social movement that consists of regional divisions and collective members. The highest body of the Movement is the Conference that is held once in 3 years.

Between the Conferences, the permanent managing collegiate authority is the Board of the Movement and Interregional Coordination Council.

The Board is chosen by the Conference from a number of its delegates, using open ballot, for 3 (three) years, and every year it reports to the Conference. The Chairperson of the Movement is an ex officio member of the Board of the Movement.

The meetings of the Board are held when necessary but at least once in four months. The meetings are considered competent when at least two third of the Board members are present. The protocols of the Board’s meetings are lead by the Board Secretary, who is chosen by the Board from a number of its members.

The Chairperson of the Movement is chosen trough closed vote by the Conference from a number of its delegates for 3 (three) years. The Chairperson of the Movement:

  • leads the activities of the Board of the Movement;
  • leads the activities of the Movement as a whole in the periods between the Board's meetings
  • represents the Movement in legal terms in its relations with state and municipal organs and organisations, and relations with social, religious, commercial, non-commercial and other organisations in the Russian Federation and abroad.

The Chairperson of the Movement leads the Apparatus, being its chief manager.

In order to control the observance of the Charter and the financial and economic activities of the Movement the Inspector shall be elected by the Conference for three (3) years.
