The Russian LGBT Network Celebrated Its Tenth Anniversary At The Annual Forum of LGBT Activists

From the 4th to the 7th of November in the Outer Moscow Region, the Second Annual Forum of LGBT Activists, which was organized by the Russian LGBT Network, was held. The Forum gathered around 250 activists from across all Russia and has become the biggest event of its kind in the country. 250 participants, 32 trainers, a few days of hard work, and, of course, a special space where each person can be themself!

The Forum was preceded by two days of training for psychologists and lawyers working with the Russian LGBT Network and a seminar “The Experience of Labor Unions”, in which Evgeny Pavlovsky described the experiences of the trade union movement.

The grand opening of the forum and a gala evening, dedicated to the anniversary of the Russian LGBT Network and led by the charming Mona Pepperoni from Saint Petersburg, were held on November 4th. The guests were entertained by the Greek performance group “DAGIPOLI”, consisting of Mama Eva, Marina Minasyan, Dean Joe, and others.

We are grateful to all our guests, friends, and partners for spending this time with us! We are grateful to all individual and collective participants and regional offices! The Russian LGBT Network is all of us. Over the past ten years we have accomplished a lot, and it will be necessary to do even more together! We are now preparing and processing materials and photos from the Forum, which we will be happy to share with you, and we want to say we are very proud of the way the Forum went off and we love you guys a lot!
